    The Faculty of Architecture at Sapienza University of Rome is the first Italian Faculty of Architecture, founded as a High School in 1919 and transformed into a Faculty in 1935 by Gustavo Giovannoni. It has four locations: Piazza Borghese, Via Flaminia, Via Gianturco and Valle Giulia.

    At the Valle Giulia location is the Central Library of the Faculty of Architecture in Rome, which is historically one of the largest Italian architecture libraries. The Faculty coordinates four departments: Architecture and Design; History, Design and Restoration of Architecture; Planning, Design and Technology of Architecture; Structural and Geotechnical Engineering.
