Apartment:
The apartment is a 124 square meters (1345 sq. ft) duplex apartment in a renovated 19th-century residential building. It is situated in the yard and is totally quiet with no traffic noise.
On the ground-floor, there is the entrance floor, a bathroom with shower and toilet, the kitchen, the dining room and the living room, as well as a storage room. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, an oven and cutlery for 12 persons. The dining room is equipped with a dinner table and chairs for 8 persons.
On the first floor there is a bathroom with a bathtub and a toilet as well as a washing machine, a storage room, and three bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed 180 cm x 200 cm, a second bedroom with two single beds 90 cm x 200 cm and a third one with a double bed 140 cm x 200 cm. In addition, each bedroom is equipped with a wardrobe and a writing desk.

The floor is oak parquet in all rooms, storage and the upper floor and marble in the entrance floor and the bathrooms.
The apartment is equipped with a TV set, a DVD player and a Hi-fi system.
There is an internet flat rate with Wi-Fi in all rooms.
The apartment is decorated with 30 original paintings and drawings by Italian, Russian and German artists as well as three big and three small chandeliers. 

Location:
The apartment is located in Inselstrasse in Berlin-Mitte, the most central district of Berlin. The Humboldt Forum, the Nicolai quartier, the boulevard "Unter den Linden" and the famous "Museums' Island" are in 10 minutes walking distance. The area is calm, green and safe. Very close (200 m) is a park (Koellnischer Park) with a museum (Märkisches Museum) and the river Spree inviting to walks along the beautiful riverside through the centre of Berlin. 
There are numerous restaurants and cafés in the neighbourhood as well as two supermarkets. Two subway stations, a train station (with four S-Bahn lines) and three bus lines provide excellent connection to public transport. One bus goes directly to the Central station.

In the basement, there is a lockable bicycle room which you can use to securely park your bicycle. 
If you have a car, you can obtain a car park resident's permit cost 2024: €20.40 for 2 years valid

Beste Lage - in ruhiger Straße in Mitte, in Nähe der Parochialkirche und gegenüber befindet sich das Gebäude der Senatsverwaltung.

Die Wohnung ist wunderbar zentral gelegen, in 10 Minuten steht man auf dem Alex, nur 20 Minuten Fuβweg sind es zum schönen Volkspark Friedrichshain. In 200 Meter Entfernung flieβt die Spree und quasi for der Tür fährt die U2 in der U-Bahn Station Klosterstrasse (U2) Richtung Ruhleben oder Pankow ab.

Als eine der ältesten Berliner Strassen behaust die Klosterstrasse viele historischen Bauten wie etwa die Ruine der Klosterkirche oder das Palais Podewil. Abseits der Partymeilen lebt es sich hier eher ruhig, ausgehen lässt es sich hier trotzdem gut. Gut essen und trinken kann man gediegen bei Ännchen von Thalau am Rolandufer oder deftig in der Letzten Instanz in der Waisenstraße.

This lovely newly renovated apartment on the third floor of a centrally located Berliner building has a lot of light and colourful charm. It offers one room, a very well furnished kitchen, a large high-quality bathroom with a tub and a balcony where one can sit comfortably. The decorations of this charming flat are unique and include two oil paintings from Burmese and Cambodian contemporary artists, a nice Buddha statue and an exquisite Kuba textile panel from Africa. All furniture and equipment are brand new including a queen size bed, large mirror closet, desk, table and chairs and a leather sofa chair. A flat screen TV and DVD player, fast wireless internet, washing machine with incorporated dryer, microwave, vacuum cleaner, toaster, hair dryer, towels and linen are available. The flat is on the quite internal side of the building which has an elegant entrance and green court yard. There is luggage storage in the apartment and in (hidden)ment if needed. The owner has another apartment in the same building on the ground floor (number 464) that can host 2 people and has a very nice large terrace with an outlook into green vegetation.

The apartment is very centrally located, near to the Museumsinsel, in a calm street with many different cosy restaurants just a few steps from the Spree riverbanks where one can walk and do jogging. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and green as there are many parks. The Koellnischer Park around the corner hosts the living symbol of Berlin - two brown bears. There are various lovely cafes and restaurants and all kinds of shops nearby the apartment, including a large bio market and an ordinary supermarket a 3-5 minute walk away. The stations Märkisches Museum, Heinrich-Heine and Jannowitzbruecke giving access to five major subway and train lines can be reached in 2-5 minute walk. It takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the historic Nikolaiviertel and to the Alexanderplatz (2 stops by subway). Boat trips through Berlin can be taken from the nearby riverbank. Despite its very central location the neighbourhood remains a peaceful haven away from urban noise and stress.

Smokers allowed, but not inside the apartment. Most time pets are allowed, but the tenant must inquire first as there are additional rules and paperwork.
